Ubuntu – netbeans, missing g++ compilerAdded: 2012-04-19
After installation IDE Netbeans C++ in system Ubuntu using file .sh (netbeans-7.1.1-ml-cpp-linux.sh), it might be the situation, when you can not compile code, because not exist path to compillator g++.
First check whether the system is g++, type in terminal command
g++ --version, if there is no such command, install compilator
sudo apt-get install g++.
Next step is adding path to compilators in settings in Netbeans. Click on Tools|Option|C/C++, type the path to the g++. Example path for g++ in version 4.6 is: /usr/bin/g++-4.6.
